After 450+ projects and 25 years, I've learned one thing above all: the best design is the kind that disappears into use, leaving only the feeling that something works exactly as it should.

Human-centered always

Every decision starts with the user , their context, behavior, and unspoken needs. Across 450+ projects in consumer, industrial, and mission-critical domains, I've learned that the best designs disappear into use.

Concept to production

Great ideas mean nothing without execution. Deep technical fluency in DFM, plastics engineering, CMF, and prototyping ensures design intent survives the full journey from sketch to shelf , every time.

Leadership as craft

A team well led is a product well made. I build design organizations where talent grows, cross-functional partners align, and bold ideas get the rigor they need to ship at scale , across categories, geographies, and product tiers. Culture and craft are inseparable.

Currently leading global Industrial Design at Motorola Solutions as Senior Manager , overseeing Public Safety, Commercial/Industrial, ASTRO, and Accessories hardware portfolios with 8 direct reports across Penang, Malaysia and Fort Lauderdale, USA. Operating at Director scope: roadmap ownership, cross-functional alignment, C-suite presentations, and IP strategy.

My hardware experience spans mission-critical devices, consumer electronics, connected home, and panoramic imaging , giving me the DFM depth, CMF fluency, and user-research rigor that translate directly to consumer product leadership at companies like Motorola Solutions, GE Appliances, Pial Legrand, among others.

Career spans consultancy, startups (360fly, VSN Mobil), and large corporations (Motorola Solutions) , fluent across all three environments. Moved to USA on an O-1 Extraordinary Ability Visa.

IDSA Chapter Chair Arizona (2018–19) and Florida/Miami (2020–2022, re-elected 2023–2024). Selected as CES 2023 Innovation Awards Jury member. IDEO University certified in Leading for Creativity, Storytelling for Influence, and Foundations in Creative Leadership.

Eight years of consistent training — through product launches, international travel, team expansions, and a global pandemic — to earn the Black Belt in 2024. BJJ teaches what no course can: how to stay composed under pressure, how to problem-solve in real time, and how to trust a long-term process even when results feel far away.

For the past year, I've been volunteering as a BJJ professor — twice a week, 7–8am, before work hours. Teaching has deepened my own understanding of the craft.
